Let It Shine

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”Matthew 5:16

Put any prompt on the screen. Students scan a code and answer with a photo: a reaction face, a pose, a drawing on paper or something they find. You approve every photo on your phone before it shines on the board.

How a round works

  1. Write a prompt. Type anything, or pick one of this week's ready prompts. It shows in big letters on the screen.
  2. Students answer with a photo. They scan the code once, type a first name or team name, and snap their answer. No app and no account.
  3. You approve each photo. Photos wait in your private queue on your phone. Nothing reaches the screen until you tap approve.
  4. Let it shine. Tap reveal and every approved answer fills the board. Tap one to spotlight it for discussion.

You approve everything

Every photo goes to the teacher's private queue first. You can hide or delete any photo, even after it's on the board.

Deleted when class ends

Ending the session deletes every photo right away. If a teacher forgets, photos are deleted automatically 3 hours after the last activity.

No accounts

Students type a first name or team name. Their phones never see anyone else's photos, only the screen does.

Tip: if your laptop screen is shown on the projector, review photos on your phone. Anything open on a projected laptop is visible to the class.
