Jonah’s Whale Tours: A Weak Thing Made Strong

Jonah’s story is one of the Bible’s most memorable reminders that God can work through imperfect people—even when they would rather go the other way. Called by the Lord to preach repentance to the people of Nineveh, Jonah initially ran from his assignment, boarded a ship, and eventually found himself in the belly of a great fish. After turning back to God, Jonah fulfilled his mission, and the people of Nineveh repented.
