A Sacred Responsibility
President Ezra Taft Benson
President of the Church
Newly sustained, President Benson thanked the Saints, called for unity, and outlined the threefold mission: proclaim, strengthen, and redeem the dead.
“If ye are not one ye are not mine.”
“In this work it is the Spirit that counts”
“There is no greater joy than bringing souls to Christ.”
“we reach out to you in the pure love of Christ”
