Blessed Are the Merciful

First Counselor in the First Presidency
Mercy is the essence of Christ's gospel; as we show compassion and forgiveness to others we obtain mercy.
“How godlike a quality is mercy.”
“It must come from the heart.”
“Mercy is of the very essence of the gospel of Jesus Christ.”
“Let us be more merciful.”
