Faith—The First Step
Elder Howard W. Hunter
Of the Council of the Twelve
Faith in Jesus Christ, nourished like Alma's seed, is the first step to knowing gospel truth and bearing witness of the risen Lord.
“He is not here, but is risen.”
“I believe these things with all my heart.”
“Faith is the element that builds the bridge”
“Thus faith becomes the first step in any action”
Scriptures
Luke 24:6; Heb. 11:1; Alma 32:37–40; Matt. 28:19–20; Mark 6:7
