Joy and Mercy

Elder Dallin H. Oaks
Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles

Elder Oaks taught that God created us for joy, which becomes full only through Christ’s mercy, while wickedness never was happiness.

“men are, that they might have joy”
“Joy is more than happiness.”
“Only in Christ can our joy be full.”
“Wickedness never was happiness”
“You can never get enough of what you don't need”
“Righteousness fosters righteousness.”
