Never Give Up
Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin
Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
Perseverance, like that of Job, Moroni, Joseph Smith and supremely Jesus Christ, is essential to reaching exaltation.
“no failure except in giving up and no longer trying”
“Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him.”
“Never give in, never, never, never”
“essentially all significant achievement results largely from perseverance”
“Father, thy will be done, and the glory be thine forever”
Scriptures
Job 13:15; James 1:5; Matt. 4:10; Moses 4:2
