Obedience through Our Faithfulness
Elder L. Tom Perry
Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
Elder Perry uses his grandfather's lesson about horses and bits to teach that faithful obedience to the Spirit's gentle promptings shows trust in God.
“we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us”
“the still, small voice”
“today's complexity demands greater simplicity”
“Obedience is a choice.”
“God will ultimately rescue us”
