Reverent and Clean
Elder Dallin H. Oaks
Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
The sacred names of the Father and Son must be used with reverence, and Latter-day Saints should avoid profane and vulgar language.
“the profane has become commonplace and the vulgar has become acceptable”
“That is my Lord whose names you revile.”
“In our family we only use that name when we worship”
“The language of Latter-day Saints should be reverent and clean.”
