Seeing the Promises Afar Off
Anne C. Pingree
Second Counselor in the Relief Society General Presidency
Like Nigerian Saints far from a temple and pioneer Laura, we can live by faith, trusting promises we now see only afar off.
“Faith lived in Laura, and Laura lived her faith.”
“I carry their examples of faith carefully wrapped in my heart.”
“None had received their temple endowment.”
