To Act for Ourselves: The Gift and Blessings of Agency
Elder Robert D. Hales
Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
Agency, given in the premortal world, is strengthened by obedience; we must act for ourselves, flee evil, and choose Christ to reclaim our freedom.
“the adversary can never have joy unless you and I sin”
“we do not have to succumb to his enticements!”
“Let your desires be stronger than his.”
“Accept the Savior's forgiveness, and then forgive yourself.”
