What God Hath Joined Together

President Gordon B. Hinckley
First Counselor in the First Presidency

President Hinckley taught that marriage is ordained of God and that selfishness, not marriage itself, breaks homes; the remedy is repentance and love.

“What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder”
“I find selfishness to be the root cause of most of it.”
“Selfishness is the antithesis of love.”
“But I can come to you.”
“The strength of the nations lies in the homes of the people.”
