Doctrine and Covenants 32 Go with my servants
In September 1830, Oliver Cowdery and Peter Whitmer Jr. were called to preach to American Indians, and other elders also hoped to share the gospel with the Lamanites. Joseph Smith asked the Lord whether elders should go among them. This revelation calls Parley P. Pratt to join Oliver and Peter, with Ziba Peterson also going. The Lord promises to be with them and tells them to study what is written, pray for understanding, and follow these instructions carefully.

- And Ziba Peterson also shall go with them; and I myself will go with them and be in their midst; and I am their advocate with the Father, and nothing shall prevail against them. (1 connected talk)
- And they shall give heed to that which is written, and pretend to no other revelation; and they shall pray always that I may unfold the same to their understanding.

How these connections are counted
Sources. Scripture text is the public-domain English text of the Doctrine and Covenants (sections 1–138). Section summaries, headings and questions are Weak Things’ own; the Church’s copyrighted headings and footnotes are not used. Joseph Smith Papers links point to the exact manuscript and printed pages. Connections come from the scripture links in every general conference talk from April 2000 through October 2026.
Distinct talks, not mentions. Each talk counts once per verse. Badges show whether the talk cites this exact verse or a passage that includes it, and whether the link is in a footnote or the talk text. Frequency is not a measure of doctrinal importance.
