1 Timothy 2 One mediator between God and men
Paul asks that prayers be made for all people, including leaders, because God wants all to be saved. There is one God and one mediator, Christ Jesus. He gives counsel on prayer and modest, good works for men and women in worship.

- I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
- For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. (1 connected talks)
