An Ensign to the Nations, a Light to the World
President Gordon B. Hinckley
President of the Church
The Church is God's work; members should never despair, hold back the world, and stand firm for right as an ensign to the nations.
“There is never reason to despair.”
“This is the work of God.”
“We must hold back the world.”
“Stand firmly for what you know to be right.”
“Ask the Lord, whose work this really is.”
Scriptures
