April 2008 · General Young Women Meeting
Anchors of Testimony
Mary N. Cook
Second Counselor in the Young Women General Presidency
Like a water lily's anchoring stalk, a growing testimony of Christ—nurtured by prayer, scripture study, and obedience—keeps young women steadfast.
“your testimony of Jesus Christ can be your anchor”
“exercise a particle of faith”
“Our young people should drive down stakes early.”
“Why be tempted?”
“Faith is a principle of action.”
Scriptures
Alma 32:27; Mosiah 5:15; Alma 36:3
