Elder Howard W. Hunter
Of the Council of the Twelve
Young men should keep their gospel shoes on and prepare now, like President Kimball, so they are ready whenever the Lord calls.
“Wait, coach. Wait while I put on my shoes.”
“there was no excuse for a quarterback without shoes”
“keep their gospel shoes on”
“I will prepare, and perhaps my chance will come.”
“chance always favors the prepared life”
