Content with the Things Allotted unto Us
Elder Neal A. Maxwell
Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
Like Alma, we should be content within our God-given allotments, serving and improving there, for performance matters more than the stage.
“content with the things which the Lord hath allotted unto me”
“Performance is what matters, not the size of the stage.”
“Being content means acceptance without self-pity.”
“when I get to heaven I will have a hand”
Scriptures
Alma 29:3; 1 Timothy 6:6; Luke 2:19
