“Deny Yourselves of All Ungodliness”
Elder Neal A. Maxwell
Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
Discipleship requires denying ourselves of all ungodliness, large and small, rejecting the selfish hedonism of the age.
“While boulders surely block our way, loose gravel slows discipleship too.”
“Even a small stone can become a stumbling block.”
“Yet sensory happiness is illusory happiness.”
“A society which permits anything will eventually lose everything!”
