Five Million Members—A Milestone and Not a Summit
President Gordon B. Hinckley
Counselor in the First Presidency
Five million members is a milestone, not a summit; Saints must press forward in doctrine, love at home, and unity.
“Let us be grateful. But let us not be boastful.”
“Selfishness is the canker that drives out peace and love.”
“We must close ranks and march shoulder to shoulder”
“see the big picture”
Scriptures
Matt. 5:16; Isa. 2:3
