His Servants, the Prophets
Elder F. Michael Watson
Of the Seventy
Prophets past and present guide us like a trusted horse in fog; heeding their counsel keeps us from deception.
“Give the horse the reins, and he will get you to camp.”
“How can I, except some man should guide me?”
“Whoso treasureth up my word, shall not be deceived.”
“Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord?”
“the Master speaks to us through His prophet”
Scriptures
Acts 8:30–31; Joseph Smith—Matthew 1:37; D&C 1:37–38; Psalm 24:3–5; Amos 3:7
