Learning the Lessons of the Past
Elder M. Russell Ballard
Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
Youth should learn from parents, prophets, and scriptures rather than repeat past mistakes, gaining testimony through desire, study, prayer, obedience, and service.
“You're going to text your conference talk?”
“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”
“You cannot do a Google search to gain a testimony.”
“You can't text message faith.”
