Solemn Assemblies
Elder David B. Haight
Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
In a solemn assembly we sustain the prophet by quorums, covenanting to follow him; President Hunter holds the keys and is Christlike.
“a sacred, sober, and reverent occasion”
“It is a solemn covenant.”
“as if from mine own mouth”
“He, in my estimation, is truly Christlike.”
“The Lord has spoken.”
“every prophet bears record of Jesus Christ”
