The Atonement of Jesus Christ Provides the Ultimate Rescue
Elder Quentin L. Cook
Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
Like the handcart rescuers, Jesus Christ's Atonement provides the ultimate rescue; we can face trials optimistically.
“The vast majority of handcart pioneers did not experience tragedies”
“all must pass through a refiner's fire”
“live optimistically on the sunny side of the street”
Scriptures
Mosiah 15:8–9; Alma 34:16
