The Other Prodigal
Elder Jeffrey R. Holland
Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
The resentful elder brother in the prodigal parable warns against jealousy; God loves each child equally and invites all to rejoice.
“He came to himself.”
“He is haunted by the green-eyed monster of jealousy.”
“Toward both of his children he extends charity.”
“the race is against sin, not against each other”
