True to the Faith
President Thomas S. Monson
First Counselor in the First Presidency
Like the octopus lure of Tonga, Satan dangles temptations—immorality, pornography, drugs, and debt—but faithful people like Daniel stay true and are protected.
“This, I learned, was a maka-feke, an octopus lure.”
“They aren't necessities unless we make them so.”
“Do not be deceived.”
“Pause to pray.”
“Who honors God, God honors.”
