Because I Have Been Given Much is a vintage-inspired LDS gym t-shirt built around one powerful truth: blessings create responsibility. The design turns the hymn’s message into a little gym humor—because when your friends keep “giving” you more plates, apparently you’re supposed to lift them. 💪

The beloved hymn, “Because I Have Been Given Much,” is based on words by American poet Grace Noll Crowell (1877–1969), originally published in Light of the Years in 1936. The music was later composed by Phillip Landgrave in 1975, and the hymn became part of the Latter-day Saint hymnbook in 1985 as hymn 219. Its themes include gratitude, service, sacrifice, love, tithing, and caring for others.
